Creative Workshops

Explore your inner creative with new skills and crafts!

Many people say ‘I don’t have a creative bone in my body’  but until you have the opportunity to try in a relaxed, fun environment you will never know and be surprised to find you most definitely have. It’s often like so many things – a willingness to just give it a go and enjoy the experience!

For those wanting to learn a few floristry skills and also enjoy time here on the farm at one of our creative workshops please take a look at what we are currently offering.

  • rosie tending flowers in the walled garden
Would you like to enjoy cutting your own flowers and create a beautiful, country garden vase arrangement to take home? If so why not join Rosie at the farm this summer for a relaxing and creative morning. The day will start with a tour of the cutting garden seeing what is available and Rosie will give an overview of how she cares for the flowers she grows and useful tips for cutting and conditioning them.  Once you have seen all that is available to cut you can decide which flowers and scented foliage you would like to pick for your own arrangement and get snipping! Whilst the flowers rest and drink, we will do the same with refreshments and lots of homemade cake. A chance to ask Rosie any questions you may have on growing and floristry before being shown how to create a beautiful table centre piece. You are welcome to bring your own favourite jug, vase, container or use one of ours. We will show you sustainable floristry mechanics... not a whiff of floral foam on this farm so you have additional skills for future use which are also kinder to our planet.
